Classic Motor Shows

This year Greenwood Exhibitions has arranged two Classic Motor Shows at classic venues.

THE 21st KNEBWORTH ANNUAL CLASSIC MOTOR SHOW

This is our only Knebworth event. Not to be confused with other smaller car events.

Classic Events

All classic events feature:

Hundreds of classic vehicles, in beautiful surroundings, including Saloons, Sports, American, Commercial, Military, Classic Motorcycles plus Kit, Custom, Replica, PLUS Club Displays. All pre-booked vehicles on display receive a commemorative brass plaque
Concours takes place on the Bank Holiday Monday
Autojumble, Trade, General & Craft Stands
Commentary - by top motoring journalist throughout the day
Children's Entertainment and reduced admission to house, gardens and park at most venues

Private Entry

All Vehicles entered must be registered in this country up to 31 December 1986. Each pass admits two adults and two children and costs £3 per vehicle per event, all other occupants pay normal admission prices on the day. Passes are only valid when attached to a qualifying vehicle - admission at the normal rate will be charged if this is not adhered to. ALL pre-booked classics will qualify for a commemorative plaque. Advertising cars for sale in these sections is NOT allowed.

Concours

Concours judging takes place on Mondays at around 4pm, and up to 4 trophies are awarded depending on the size of the classes.
Following changes to Concours classes in 2003, we have decided to introduce a new "rolling" qualification of 25 years old for concours entrants. In 2011 therefore, vehicles registered up to 31st December 1986 will qualify. This will only affect classes G H I K & L. Another innovation introduced in 2005 was a special class for previous concours class winners at Knebworth. Previous winners will have their own masterclass* within the show, this is to avoid the same cars winning every year.

* Masterclass will continue at Knebworth, but not at our new venue, Woburn.

Club Displays

Clubs may book sites at any of our Classic Events for a minimum of 3 vehicles (no maximum - subject to space available) at a cost of £3 per vehicle per event. Passes that you order allow entry to the event for up to two adults & two children only (4-15), all other occupants pay the normal admission price on the day. Passes are only valid when attached to a qualifying vehicle on arrival at the venue - admission at the normal rate will be charged if this is not adhered to. Passes are not transferable. ALL pre-booked vehicles will qualify for a commemorative plaque. Advertising cars for sale on club sites is NOT allowed (see below). Clubs may sell club regalia or memorabilia but the sale of Autojumble etc is NOT allowed (see below).

Pre-Booking

All pre-booked classics will qualify for a commemorative plaque. Pre-booking must be at least 28 days before the event.

Automart - Cars For Sale

Private individuals or CAR DEALERS may bring along cars to display in the "Cars for Sale" area at each event. A pre-booked charge of £16 will be made which covers a car and driver for both show days. All other occupants pay the normal admission charges. Please complete sections 1, 2 & 4 clearly marking your Entry Form CARS FOR SALE. If you wish to bring your car along to sell on the day, the charge will be £18 which covers a car and driver only for both days. Pre-booking is up to 7 days before the event.

Motor Trade, General & Craft Sites (new goods)

Outdoor show sites are space only 6m x 6m (19.8ft x 19.8ft) and cost £40 per site per day on the day or £30 pre-booked including VAT at Woburn. Knebworth is £60 on the day or £50 pre-booked.

Autojumble (second hand motor related items)

At all our outdoor shows (not runs) sites are space only. Woburn site sizes are 5m x 8m (16.5 ft wide x 26.25ft deep). Pay on the day £20 per site per day or pre-book @ £15 per site per day including VAT. KNEBWORTH site measures 5m wide x 7m deep (16.5 ft x 23ft) and cost £35 per site per day or pre-book @ £30 including VAT. Trade & Autojumble includes ONE pass and allows entry for one driver and one passenger only. All other people entering the site will pay the normal entry fee on arrival. Setting up times at Knebworth are 08.00 hrs - 09.30hrs prior to opening at 10.00hrs. If preferred you may set up your stand on the Saturday afternoon between 14.00hrs and 17.00hrs except London~Brighton where setting up times are Sunday morning ONLY from 08.00 to 10.00hrs. Setting up times at Woburn are 0800 to 0930hrs, Sunday & Monday. There is no overnight camping at Woburn for anyone, but we have arranged camping in a field at a nearby pub, the Rose & Crown (early booking recommended — state if you are with the classic car show).

Camping

No camping allowed by anyone at Woburn Abbey. Local camping is available at Rose & Crown; please ring 01525 280245 to book (early booking recommended — state if you are with the classic car show).

Autojumblers & Traders may camp overnight on their plots on Saturday & Sunday at Knebworth.
